Hi, I’m Sharon Jones and founder of SixthFloorArt.

I created SixthFloorArt to explore the beauty of everyday objects through contemporary still life. Working from my studio, I paint simple subjects against quiet backgrounds, allowing colour, shadow and composition to become the focus.

Working in oils, many of my still life paintings are inspired by vintage finds that I have collected over the years and some are available to purchase alongside the original object that inspired them, creating a unique pairing for collectors.

Whether its a much loved pet or an everyday object with a story to tell my aim is to create artwork that people will enjoy, spark conversation and bring colour and character into a home.

My Approach

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. I’m proud of where I’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. I have a vision for my art and future collections which will expand further on the art I love doing so much.
